The Institució Familiar d’Educació education group asked Construnext to upgrade its facilities to obtain the Environmental License in one of its 13 schools in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. It needed a 2,000-square-metre space to comply with fire detection and prevention regulations.

The project required installing fire-resistant doors, creating emergency exits, adapting classrooms, and upgrading the fire detection and extinguishing system. The building’s specific characteristics were challenging due to its beams and false ceilings yet the project was successfully completed to ensure the students’ safety and wellbeing.
