The Hostels OK Inversiones group requested changing the land use at 176 Calle Girona, in Barcelona. A building that was previously the headquarters for the AGBAR water company would be transformed into a hostel. The eight floors in the block measured around 2,700 m² and required a general overhaul. Construnext gutted the building and then installed 44 rooms with space for 204 clients.

In this case, Construnext started from scratch, creating a blueprint and executive product, delivering the property keys to the client when the hostel was completely finished. The power supply was upgraded, and the demolition of all walls but the main facade were major challenges.
